Consultancy for Mid-Term Evaluation of COMATAO

The Regional Dialogue and investment Project for Pastoralism and Transhumance in the Sahel and Coastal Countries of West Africa (PREDIP) aims to strengthen the contribution of pastoralism and transhumance to food and nutritional security, equitable socio-economic development and regional integration in West Africa. More specifically, it aims to

• Improve information and knowledge management in pastoralism and transhumance
• Facilitate peaceful cross-border transhumance and improve nutrition
• Secure herd mobility and access to pastoral resources and markets
• Control transboundary animal diseases with a positive impact on animal and human health
